About us

Belgians in Sardinia since 1990

In 1990 we left Belgium and moved to San Priamo. We had fallen for Sardinia, and the citrus of Muravera already had a fine reputation.

We planted our 10 hectares along the Picocca river, a perfect spot for orange trees. The soil, the climate and a lot of hard work did the rest: today we are proud of our fruit. Citrus is what we do best.

With this website we'd like to show you our everyday life and the flavours of this still unspoilt island.

The farm

Silty soil on the river bank

The plantation covers 10 hectares of alluvial land along the Picocca. The silt left by the river over the years, the quality of its water and the sunshine give our fruit its flavour.

We farm it as a family, using the traditional methods of the area, a few kilometres from the sea.

“On the tree in the morning, at your home in the evening.”

Our goals

What matters to us

01

Sharing Sardinia

We want people to discover the quality of Sardinian farming and its real flavours.

02

No middlemen

We are the growers: you deal with us directly, and the fruit arrives fresh.

03

Only in season

We only sell local, seasonal produce. It goes from the tree to your door with no cold storage.

Our products

What we harvest

We choose every fruit by hand before packing it.

Freshly picked oranges
November – May

Oranges

Navelina, Washington and Thomson. Juicy and sweet, for eating or squeezing.

Learn more

One medium orange (150–180 g) covers nearly all of an adult's daily vitamin C, which comes in handy in winter. Its natural acids also help digestion: a glass of orange juice before a meal is a good habit.

Clementines with leaves on a wooden table
November – February

Clementines

They peel in seconds and children love them. Common clementines from November to mid-January, then Hernandina until the end of February.

Learn more

Two clementines (about 100 g) already give you over 40 mg of vitamin C, plus calcium, magnesium and iron, for barely 50 kcal. They are very easy to digest, even for little ones.

A crate of lemons
November – April

Lemons

Our lemons are untreated, so you can use the peel too, in cooking and baking.

Grapefruit

Juicy, with a hint of bitterness.

Bergamots

Very fragrant, for jams, desserts or liqueurs.

Mixed boxes

A bit of everything in one box: oranges, clementines and lemons.
